On 30 November 2018 Corner Stones acquired shares in the equity of Leonardino.

Leonardino is a biotechnology company that focuses on research and development of products and licenses for medical devices. The company uses its technology platform on nanomaterials applied to natural polymers such as silk.

The team has multidisciplinary skills in management, technology, R&D, production, communication and business.

The consolidated nanomaterials technology platform has allowed Leonardino to develop a range of nanostructured medical devices for treating damaged skin and, in particular, chronic wounds. These innovative products exploit the chemical, physical, and morphological properties of nanomaterials to solve the numerous issues related to the treatment of sores, ulcers, and other hard-to-heal wounds. Leonardino manufactures all the products of the range using 100% italian silk, with a certified raw material production chain for medical applications, thereby combining the latest technological developments with one of the oldest and noblest materials, which has been used for over 5000 years.
